Chris Cotone

"If you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life" I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2003 and spent 5 years lighting downtown theatre in New York. In 2009, my wife and I moved back to Los Angeles, found a cute little house in Burbank, and brought Jenny Rose into the world. ( She's Awesome! ) I did a year of grad school at Cal Arts under Don Holder (Lion King LD) during which I started freelancing around town, working the popular venues as well as the occasional road gig. I am proud to be a member of IATSE Local 728. Im currently the dimmer OP on "Dog with a Blog" (God Bless you, Johnny Simmons A.S.C.), and I also recently lit the fort of San Felipe El Morro for the PBS Special, "Yanni: Live at El Morro". I assist John Sherwood with the vectorworks class at 728 and I also host a weekly informal Vectorworks 'get together'. If you want to drop by and share some of your vectorworks skills, or pick up some new knowledge, drop me an email at mail@chriscotone.com I am blessed to work in this industry, and I love what I do. I bring a positive, professional attitude to every gig I work on... mostly because I'm happy to be there. Chris Cotone Burbank, CA. May, 2012.
